About STQN

United in good health

This is STQN, a physician-led medical community rooted in compassion, communication and clinical coordination.

When people come together, they tend to win. That’s the concept behind St. Tammany Quality Network, a northshore medical community made up of more than 290 like-minded physicians aligned with St. Tammany Health System in the interest of delivering quality care at more affordable costs.

Founded in January 2014, the physician-led STQN operates under a clinical integration model emphasizing commitment to quality and outcomes by creating a medical community aligned around initiatives and payer engagement; uses a common information technology platform to capture disease-specific data throughout the network to assist in proactive patient care; and develops best practices.

Through their alignment with St. Tammany Health System – and, by extension, the health system’s strategic partners at Ochsner Health -- STQN member physicians are afforded convenient access to innovative health products that offer lower premiums than traditional products while keeping the same coverage.

That’s good for patients, it’s good for physicians and it’s good for the health of our community.

Better care

Embracing a team approach to community health

St. Tammany Quality Network is part of the Ochsner Health Network (OHN), which includes over 2,600 primary care and specialty care physicians. OHN is the largest clinically integrated network in Louisiana and is composed of select health providers that joined together to improve the quality of care.

The physicians participating in OHN are focused on sharing knowledge, resources, processes, and technology to:

  • Improve quality of healthcare.
  • Enhance the care deliver model to become more patient centered.
  • Develop improved coverage solutions for employers and patients.
  • Improve efficiency in order to reduce the total cost of care.

Working at the community level promotes healthy living, helps prevent chronic diseases and brings the greatest health benefits to the greatest number of people in need
