By now you have probably already heard the news: Braswell’s pharmacy has joined the St. Tammany Health System family.
On Sept. 15, we closed on the purchase of the Covington business, which has been serving local residents since 1981.
Not only does this union of two longtime fixtures of the healthcare community keep Braswell’s in local hands but it also puts it in the hands of an organization that has been dedicated to caring for our community for the past seven decades.
That’s why it is the cover story for the fall 2023 issue of Heart to Heart, which – in addition to the Braswell’s news – is packed with both information and inspiration as we continue our unceasing mission to increase access to quality healthcare for Northshore residents.
Among the other stories you’ll find inside:
- Chef Osman Rodas of Pardo’s Restaurant in Mandeville shares the recipe for his nutrient-rich Salmon Power Bowl.
- St. Tammany Hospital Foundation’s monthlong United in Pink campaign is in full swing.
- St. Tammany Health System’s robotic surgical fleet grows again.
- Survivors Day is celebrated at our St. Tammany Cancer Center – a campus of Ochsner Medical Center.
- St. Tammany Hospital Foundation’s Healing Arts Initiative launches its first major gallery exhibition since the onset of COVID-19.
