Breast Cancer Awareness Month is officially underway, and as part of its community-wide United in Pink campaign, St. Tammany Health System has scheduled a number of screening events throughout the month featuring its Be Well Bus, a mobile health unit equipped with mammogram and other health screening equipment.
Below, find a listing of where you’ll find the bus this week, and check back every Monday throughout October for that week’s schedule.
Those interested in making an appointment to get a mammogram at any of the United in Pink events, or to schedule a visit by the Be Well Bus to their place of business, should contact STHS Community Health Coordinator Anne Pablovich at apablovich@stph.org or (985) 898-5932.
Appointments to have mammograms conducted at the STHS Women’s Pavilion in Covington can be made by calling (985)773-1500.
